Introduction:

I tailor each lesson so students use their individual strengths to improve their language skills.

My Master's Degree is in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). I have been teaching with SkimaTalk since 2013.
My students include professionals from a variety of backgrounds. I have experience in test preparation for: TOEFL, IELTS, EIKEN, and GMAT. I have also coached MBA seekers and helped them gain entry into their dream schools abroad (in the US, UK, Spain, and France).
Even if my availability doesn't match yours, please feel free to follow me! I send English tips and interesting facts to my followers occasionally (just click the "follow" button on my profile page).
I wish you the best on your language learning journey.

Teaching Specialty:

Business Skills & Knowledge › Presentation

I have been an independent businessperson as well as a licensed corporate administrator. Additionally, I have some experience as a radio broadcaster. So, I know that WHAT you say and HOW you say it is important. I have done a lot of training, on SkimaTalk as well as in classrooms, or with corporate groups. I can help you level up your presentation: whether it is for a job or school interview, a speech, or even just an important conversation you want to "get right."

Kids › All Ages

My bachelor's of science degree is in child development. I was trained to notice HOW children learn and to teach them using their areas of strength. I taught and worked with children (preschool through high school) for 12 years. I raised three of my own, and I am the grandmother of 20!

English Basics › Pronunciation / Phonics

I have been teaching on-line for several years and have developed a wealth of resources. My resources include business English, real American conversational English, pronunciation and speech resources, as well as test preparation (TOEFL, TOEIC, and ILETS)
