Hey SkimaTalk, my name is Jeremy, I’m 31 years old, and I’m from America. I have been teaching English for awhile. I really enjoy teaching pronunciation, business English, Food and beverage English, and IELTS preparation. Teaching Specialty:
I love working together with students on improving their pronunciation. It takes a lot of time and effort, but I think anyone can improve their pronunciation if they work hard and don't give up on it!
I use my neutral American accent along with a lot of patience to help guide students with tips, techniques and repetition. I try my best to make accent reduction and pronunciation less tiresome and more enjoyable.
This is one of my favorite topics to teach on. I love choosing current news articles and reading through them with students. Of course we will focus on pronunciation and intonation, but we will also slow down to understand the back story, history and deeper meaning of current news.
It is important when reading studying business to not just focus on pronunciation or memorization of key facts, but to understand the history, thought process, and psychology behind successful business thinking.
After talking about your business focus, we will research academic articles, current news and developing trends related to your scope of business.
I love talking about business! Investment banking, securities, export markets, developing trends, etc. Together we will read current articles about business topics related to your job, and discuss how current news affects your job.
